Enjoy beautiful autumn temperatures and exciting events like the Summit Foundation’s Rubber Duck Race supporting the Summit Foundation and the Great Divide Arts Festival featuring over 100 artists with a wide range of mediums including photography, wood, glass, jewelry and pottery. Bring the whole family and watch as hundreds of ducks race down the Blue River at the Riverwalk Center, participate in free activities, stroll and shop along Main Street and the Art Festival and snack on yummy food throughout town.

A longstanding Summit County tradition, the Great Rubber Duck Race has supported our community for over three decades. We are excited to announce that The 2024 Great Rubber Duck Race will be held on Saturday, August 31 from 11am-4pm, at the Blue River Plaza in downtown Breckenridge. Whether you buy a racer in pursuit of winning the grand prize, or simply as an act of supporting the programs and people you care about, everyone comes out a winner at the 36th Annual Great Rubber Duck Race.

Great Divide Art Festival – Aug. 31 – Sept. 2
The longest running art festival in Summit county continues this summer over Labor Day weekend in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. Top artists from across the country will gather with their original works of art in 13 categories including jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture and more! You won’t want to miss the last nationally ranked fine art festival of the summer!
The show will be at Colorado Mountain College just north of town with free admission and free parking.
To get to the show: Take bus from town, ride your bike on the rec path, easy and free parking onsite.
Hours: 10:00am-5:00pm Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am-4:00pm Monday
