Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Championships Sculpting Week is one of our favorite winter events in downtown Breckenridge, bringing live snow carving and international artists to the Riverwalk Center each January.

International Snow Sculpture Championships – Sculpting Week transforms downtown into a live, open-air art studio as world-class teams carve massive 12-foot blocks of snow into jaw-dropping sculptures — using only hand tools.

From January 24–28, artists from around the globe work around the clock near the Riverwalk Center, turning solid snow into intricate works of art right before your eyes. Stop by during the day to watch the details come to life, or swing through in the evening when the energy ramps up and the sculptures start taking shape under the lights.
