Celebrate the 4th of July in Breckenridge

There are few better places to spend the 4th of July in Breckenridge than historic Main Street. Independence Day brings together locals and visitors for a full day of mountain-town traditions, including the annual parade, live music, family activities, community celebrations, and plenty of reasons to spend the day downtown.

Whether you’re here for the weekend or making a day trip into Summit County, Breckenridge offers one of Colorado’s most memorable Independence Day celebrations.

A Full Day of Independence Day Events

The celebration begins early with community favorites like the Firecracker 50 Mountain Bike Race, the Sparkler Strider Bike Parade, and the annual 4th of July Parade along Main Street.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, downtown Breckenridge comes alive with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, shopping, art, and outdoor events before wrapping up with the community’s spectacular evening drone show.
