Wine at the Mine has quickly become one of Summit County’s favorite end-of-summer events, and tickets for 2026 went fast. If you were lucky enough to grab one, you’ve got a pretty great Wednesday evening ahead of you.
Hosted by The Summit Foundation at the historic Country Boy Mine in Breckenridge, Wine at the Mine combines local drinks, food, live music, Breckenridge history and a great cause — all in one very Colorado setting.
What Is Wine at the Mine?
Wine at the Mine brings together local wine, spirits, cider and beer with an evening of entertainment and activities at one of Breckenridge’s most unique historic locations.
The 2026 lineup includes tastings from Carboy Winery, Breckenridge Distillery, Ten Mile Cider and Outer Range Brewing, along with elevated hors d’oeuvres, guided mine tours, axe throwing, historic mining experiences and old-time mining photos.
Live music comes from Moonstone Quill, performing on the Breck Create AirStage.
Even better, the evening supports The Summit Foundation and its work throughout Summit County, including local nonprofit grants, scholarships and community initiatives.
Make a Breckenridge Afternoon Out of It
Wine at the Mine doesn’t begin until 5 PM, so there’s no reason to rush through Breckenridge on your way there.
Come into town early, walk Main Street, explore the shops and grab lunch or an early bite at Kenosha Breck before heading up French Gulch Road to Country Boy Mine.
We’re right in downtown Breckenridge at Main and Adams, with burgers, house-smoked BBQ, steaks, salads, plenty of Colorado beer on tap and one heck of a place to spend an afternoon before the evening festivities begin.
No complicated plan required. Eat. Wander around Breck. Then head for the mine.
