DESCRIPTION:To learn more about the following event please click on the following link – Brewery Running Series\n  \nHere’s what we found by the Colorado Brewery Running Series™\n  \nJoin us for The Broken Compass 5k on August 26\, 2023\, for a 5k-ish\, fun run event that starts and ends at this awesome taproom in Breckenridge. Run\, walk\, jog – whatever goes! Complete the course and celebrate with us and a FREE\, local craft brew at the finish line. \nStart windows will be available at 10:00 AM & 10:30 AM. Each runner/walker will need to start during their 30-minute start wave window. Please do not arrive at check-in more than 30 minutes before your selected start time begins.\nCross the finish line and celebrate! All participants receive:\n\n\nA FREE craft brew from Broken Compass Brewing\n\n\nYour choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series\n\n\nYour chance to win sweet door prizes from the Colorado Brewery Running Series\, our event sponsors\, and the host brewery.\n\n\nAccess to event festivities: live music\, food trucks\, local vendors\, fun with our partners and sponsors\, goodies\, and giveaways\n\n\nAnd more!\n\n\nOur mission is to be active\, have fun and give back to our local community. Since our inaugural Colorado event in 2016\, we have been able to donate over $120\,000 back to local Colorado non-profits (with over $350k raised to date nationwide). Sign up today!\nImportant details:\n\n\nThis is an untimed\, fun run. All levels of walkers\, runners\, and joggers are welcome.\n\n\nThis is an open course\, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.\n\n\nWe create each route to start and end at the brewery and to show off the surrounding neighborhood. The course will be marked with arrows and volunteers to help you know where to go.\n\n\nYou must bring a valid ID or driver’s license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event\, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered\, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage.\n\n\nOur events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run\, we will still hang out and drink beer.\n\n\nThere will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.\n\n\nDogs and strollers are welcome on the course\, with care and caution. Please remember – you are running at your own risk on city sidewalks/streets/trails\, which might not be suitable for your 4-legged and /or pint-size running buddies. You will also want to check with the brewery to make sure you can abide by their dog / underage policies. Please make the best decision possible for your crew.\n\n\nColorado Brewery Running Series merchandise\, including shirts\, hoodies\, hats\, stickers\, heat press brewery logos\, drinkware\, and seasonal items will be available at the event.\n\n\nThere is public parking available.
