Next\, hundreds of red-suited runners charge through town in the Race of the Santas. \nAs the sun sets\, the celebration gets even brighter. After that\, the community gathers for the countdown as 11.2 miles and more than 250\,000 lights illuminate Breckenridge. The moment turns Main Street into a glowing winter wonderland. It’s one of the most iconic sights of the season.
