DESCRIPTION:🌼 Día de los Muertos in Breckenridge\nDía de los Muertos returns to Breckenridge on October 16–17 for two days of art\, music\, dance\, tradition and remembrance throughout downtown and the Breckenridge Arts District. \nPresented by BreckCreate\, the Día de los Muertos + Latin Festival celebrates Latin American culture and community while honoring loved ones and those who came before us. Throughout the weekend\, visitors can experience community ofrendas\, art installations\, live performances\, hands-on activities\, food\, music and more. \nBest of all\, much of the celebration takes place right in the heart of Breckenridge. \n\n🕯️ Friday\, October 16\nThe weekend begins Friday evening with a community celebration and Candlelight Vigil. \nFirst\, an Azteca promenade makes its way toward Blue River Plaza. Then\, the evening continues with an Azteca performance and candlelight vigil honoring traditions of remembrance and the connections between generations. \nMeanwhile\, visitors can explore community ofrendas and festival installations around downtown. \nBecause individual events happen at different times and locations\, check the official BreckCreate schedule before heading out. \n\n🎨 Saturday\, October 17\nOn Saturday\, the celebration expands throughout the Breckenridge Arts District Campus and surrounding downtown locations. \nExplore the Latin Festival Market\, discover community art and ofrendas\, check out lowriders and Catrinas\, and experience music and cultural performances throughout the day. \nIn addition\, hands-on activities offer another way to experience the traditions and creativity behind the celebration. \nLater\, Saturday evening continues with Latin Dance Night at the Riverwalk Center.
