This scenic 10K trail running race offers up some of the best views in the Breckenridge area\, while finishing just in time to catch the Main Street parade and other festivities.\n\n\n\n\nThis race typically sells out in June — early registration is highly recommended.\nREGISTER\n\n\n\n\n8:30am – 4th of July Strider Bike Race\n\n\n\n\n\nNow here’s a bike race for the little guys! “If your child can walk\, your child can stride!” Join us for our 10th Annual Strider Race and watch your child compete on his/her no-pedal balance bike.\nGet the kids involved! The Strider Bike Race will kick off Breckenridge’s 4th of July festivities and main attractions\, The Firecracker 50 and Parade. Racers will start in front of the historical Gold Pan Saloon and finish at Blue River Plaza.\nNO DAY OF REGISTRATION. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PRE-REGISTER.\nStrider/ Balance Bikes are not provided. Please bring a Strider/ Balance Bike and helmet for your child if they are planning to participate.\nREGISTER\n\n\n\n\n9:30am – 11:30am – Independence Day Parade and Firecracker 50\n\nIndependence Day Parade\n\n\n\nBreckenridge is excited for another year of our beloved Independence Day Parade. No late registrations or walk-ups will be allowed.\nLocation: Main Street between Watson and Park Ave.\n \nFirecracker 50\nThe Firecracker 50 kicks off Independence Day in Breckenridge with a bang! This 50-mile mountain bike race starts on Main Street before sending riders off into some of the best backcountry trails Breckenridge has to offer. 4\,000 foot climbs\, thrilling descents\, and plenty of singletrack awaits all participants. DESCRIPTION:STEEP CANYON RANGERS\n \nPlease visit Breck Create for more information!\n\n\nRIVERWALK CENTER\n$28 ADV • $32 DOS\n\n\n\n\n\n \nThe Rangers are made up of Graham Sharp on banjo and vocals\, Mike Guggino on mandolin/mandola and vocals\, Nicky Sanders on fiddle and vocals\, Mike Ashworth on drums and vocals\, Barrett Smith on bass\, guitar\, and vocals\, and Aaron Burdett on guitar and vocals. \nSteep Canyon Rangers have been on a journey that is uniquely their own. The band started in college at UNC-Chapel Hill\, then dove head first into bluegrass in its most traditional form\, and over the years have risen to the top of the bluegrass genre headlining top festivals such as Merlefest and Grey Fox Bluegrass. Only to then be discovered by Steve Martin\, famous actor and banjo player. Martin has taken the Rangers on over a decade long tour introducing them to hundreds of thousands of new fans and giving them prime time TV exposure. This has helped SCR become the most recognizable modern name in bluegrass music. \nThe band has continued to tour extensively on their own\, without Martin\, and have expanded their genre into country\, jam and Americana. The Rangers are big players in the bluegrass/country and Americana scene today.
